Squirrels 'n' Messages 'n' MoonPath's....

OH MY....
The stitching on the tree looks different in each picture, it's all in the rotation.
This has been harder than I thought it would be! I am happy to be learning though, make no mistake of that.  The black lines are the branches/trunk of the tree, the gray line is there to remind me that not all of this area will be done in line stitches.
When I stepped out the door this am, I found this....
...in case you need a close up shot....
Never hurts to let your Gup, me, know you love her! {and much better than a rat!}
MoonPath is getting worked on too....this grassy-ness is at the bottom edge.... influenced by Grace.

And a shot of the back, of course.
There is not as much stitching on this one as there is on ViewPath.

Not at all.

MoonPath

I finally figured out a way to blend the 2 blues...just lay down bits and stitch them on..super simple, which is really what I was looking for.  But....the yarn you see in the middle pic will be used to add more to this piece...I think...I have a few ripples in the fabric to smooth out.  The moon piece is thick, as I had originally made it to sit ON the fabric. {it's pieced crazy fashion in lame, which is thicker than general cotton. Plus I backed it with cotton to keep the lame from frazzling completely!

MoonCloth and Pathways

Here is the whole piece of MoonCloth and boat.  Moon is actually stitched down, just no pix of it like that.  I am pondering how to blend the 2 blues in a bit more...some bits are pinned on above the boat....
 My magic cloth, Pathways, is almost complete....I think. I will have to wait until a really bright day to get a good picture of it.  This first one  is of Dan holding it up, then 'rotated' to publish.
 These 2 pix are of this hung over a rod in a window.
