I think what adds to this piece is having mom sitting next to me as I work on it. She touches it and says "Scott"....with a bit of sadness, but also a bit of gladness that I am doing this.
I don't know how to say it but you made my heart ache. Christine is right. It will be wonderful because it will not only be beautiful but filled with love.
That is one of the sweetest things I've read lately - what a grand family you have.
