I stand corrected

Birthday Season has not ended. There is my grand-nephew's birthday coming up in a couple of days, his first birthday! Exciting! Happy Birthday Cam!

And in other news....I got a flu shot on Tuesday, been sick ever since. But it hasn't been as bad as it could be, just not something the jump for joy over. Also our computer has not been it's usual happy self either, so pictures have been waiting to be included here.
First there is this wonderful sculpture of "Make Way For Ducklings"....in Boston I believe, it's been a while since I got this picture. The reason for it is, this story is #4 of the Nesting Robin I am taking part in. Wonderful story. Don't know yet how I will had it. Clue #5 is The Polar Express. I love this movie, have yet to read the story.
Next...Ben mentioned that when he saw this tree, he expected it to be huge. It's not, so here is Meg-a-roo and RocketMan for comparison. ...oh, and Page's rear end.

Next....Now this is a HUGE TREE....there are 2 of them actually, in the neighbors yard, but almost in ours as you can see by the corner of our house. They are being removed. I need to take more pix, there is a big difference already, and only one tree is 'trimmed' so far! Summer sunsets here we come. [this is the west side of the house]And this is our only Halloween treat-er. The neighbor. He is a great guy, and I hope he stays that way! The thing above his head is the 'canopy' Dan put up to keep the rain off the front door. It needs a little sprucing up with the pressure washer and some holiday lights. Dan says it's not permanent, but I think with a little wood trim so hide some of the 'tin-ness' it would look pretty good. {it was a 2 car carport when this house was in a park, so the parts all came with the house, as parts.}

  2. I so miss seeing the creative costumes we used to see. Halloween has been a bit of a dud since we moved here, living down a dirt road in the boonies didn't create much excitement. Darn.
