Ashley's Cake

Ashley has been into spiders lately....not sure why, but she is. So when Steph and I went cake hunting, we found a plain sheet cake at Safeway, and the baker sold us some Fondant and gave us some black food color [thank you!] and we found some b/w candles in the baking aisle. Then the fun began. Steph made the spiders and the letters out of the fondant. It was good practice for when we do the Gingerbread House this year. [we've decided we want to go with a regular cake and do the gingerbread trimmings] Playing with the fondant is like playing with clay.
