Flashback Friday on Saturday

[before I moved to this area...]

Camping at the cabin. We had friends with cabins in the Sierras in California, so we didn't always stay in the campgrounds. But one summer we took 2 of my friends with us, and had to create a tent for us on the front porch of the cabin. I can picture it in my minds eye, but don't think I have a real picture of it. And this picture of a lake is Sand Pond, where we spent most of our days, because this is the local swimming hole, for the tourists at least, and we were teenagers.

  2. I'm glad you shared this. My husband and I were married in Sierra City/Sardine Lakes almost 20 years ago. We've been going to this area for over 30 years...heaven. Thank you for letting others see how gorgeous it is.
