[before I moved to this area...]Camping at the cabin. We had friends with cabins in the Sierras in California, so we didn't always stay in the campgrounds. But one summer we took 2 of my friends with us, and had to create a tent for us on the front porch of the cabin. I can picture it in my minds eye, but don't think I have a real picture of it. And this picture of a lake is Sand Pond, where we spent most of our days, because this is the local swimming hole, for the tourists at least, and we were teenagers.
What a beautiful place for the tourists, I like it too!

I'm glad you shared this. My husband and I were married in Sierra City/Sardine Lakes almost 20 years ago. We've been going to this area for over 30 years...heaven. Thank you for letting others see how gorgeous it is.
