I couldn't think of anything worth writing about until I read Dorothy's Flashback for Friday.....that's when mine came whirling in like an autumn wind....I may have mentioned this already, but....to bad.
For 2 years in a row in October in Sierra City, at night, we had streets covered in male tarantulas. Well, they weren't a solid mass, but there were enough to freak us out and make us look for more, with a flashlight and shoes on! It was weird. It was spooky. And all together ooky.
I was going to post a picture, but after googling them, I changed my mind....you all know what a spider looks like, right?
shivers...shudders....uggs....
FREAKY! Why were they out like that? and do the females look different from the males? How can you tell?
