This is the reason I love trees so much. I grew up with this tree, as it grew too, and was able to climb all the way to the top! My brother says it was cut down in 2011.
Just found your blog through your comment to Susan mentioning a child at UW. (Two of our 3 went there.) So now am wondering where in WA you are. It looks like you're an embroiderer; do you also do CQ like Susan? I am currently using TAST to motivate me to finish some Sunbonnet Sue squares from the stash. This is a really long-winded way to say "hello"!
