Blue Moon on Cake

These were the only pictures I got of the Blue Moon Thursday night as it was over cast here in western WA [state].

My Ashley added the moon all by herself, and it is grand!

I heard another explanation, last night on the news, for the term 'blue moon' . One year after a volcanic eruption somewhere, the dust in the atmosphere made the moon appear blue. [as you can tell, i was paying distant attention to the news guy...]
