The dear deer

Sew Amy complimented me on my embroidered deer, so I thought a little history would go nicely with it, like cookies and milk, ya know?

Back in the 1970's I did a lot of 'needle painting', as I called it.  I usually worked from field guide books and happened to find this deer picture in one.

Thank You Amy!!!  BTW...I love the camping row you have going....I wanted to get that fabric for that same VW bus!
