The dear deer

Sew Amy complimented me on my embroidered deer, so I thought a little history would go nicely with it, like cookies and milk, ya know?

Back in the 1970's I did a lot of 'needle painting', as I called it.  I usually worked from field guide books and happened to find this deer picture in one.
