Happy New Year

and Happy Birthday to me!  I was a tax deduction 52 years ago, yahooooooo....I am sooooooooo glad to be an even number again!  {life's simple pleasures, I tell ya}

Resolutions for the New Year?  Don't do that, in fact I went looking for the correct spelling on the word [I was having a brain freeze] and to see what Google would come up with. Here's a quote from quotations...about...com, which I thought was fitting....hahahahaha

"A New Year's resolution is something that goes in one Year and out the other." 

 So there you go, something true to start out the new year.

I do want to change the size of my "in" basket, and put "out" more stitched items.  I have 1 completed rug-let to photo for your viewing pleasure, and an afghan I can probably finish today. So that's 2 new things to start out the new year!  I am also going to finish the hat for Steph and the mittz [fingerless mittens], that were waiting for more yarn, hopefully before school resumes next week.  

Do I still sew?  Yes.  Do I still quilt? Yes.  Those are things in my "In" basket!
