The wallie for my MIL is done. its round. Like a pizza. Dan looked at it and said it was 17", so I measured....by golly he was right! So how did he know? you say. "Because I slap pizzas, and an extra large is 16"" says he. Enjoy Chris!
I found these post it pads sitting in the basket.
And my 3 "Wedding Ring" circles, for a swap, are done. I had a lot of fun doing the 2nd and 3rd. I just pulled scraps out of the boxes, didn't worry about color placement...to much. Many of these were serious scraps, ie: just barely enough to cover the 'wedge' area, and many of them were used in other quilts made from swapped blocks, so lots of memories in these.

Love the pizza wallie and those rings look great!Ashley is too funny with the post-its.
ReplyDeleteChristine I hand appliqued the circles to each other on the 'pizza' because I like to do it by hand and I like the look of hand applique. I also would have hand quiltied it, but with all those seams I knew it would be beastly, so I went with the quick and easy.
