I have not seen a single comment on any blog about Japan. I have a brother in law there, so I am concerned for him and his family. I also live in a bad quake area, so I know that could easily be us.
Healing thoughts go to all those in Japan.

I get it Vicki, I was just surprised no one had said anything.
I am happy to say that the said family and his family, including his in-laws, are all ok. The in-laws live closer to the epicenter, he lives in Tokyo and did his own frantic gathering of his family members.

I instantly thought of Tommy. Last I heard he is ok. But with 125 or so aftershocks... who knows.

I've seen lots of comments about Japan. I have a personal policy to avoid talking about anything in the news so that my blog can be a place of escape. It also keep me out of trouble by avoiding touchy topics (politics). It's am amazing event. I can't even imagine what those people are going through.

I did post and mentioned Japan in it, I too wanted to just acknowledge that they were in our thoughts even though I didn't want to depress people too much.
